Trey Songz arrested following ’violent outburst on stage’ during Detroit concert
The Bottoms Up rapper was performing as part of the Big Show
At The Joe gig alongside Chris Brown yesterday night.
At around 11:30pm, the 32 year old was reportedly told to
leave the stage by an employee of the Joe Louis Arena, as his time was up.
However, according to the Detroit News, he became “upset and
belligerent”.
Police spokesperson Dan Donakowski later told the
publication he started throwing microphones and speakers around on stage.
As officials attempted to calm the situation down, the
publication states Trey, real name Tremaine Neverson, allegedly kept throwing
objects – one of which hit an officer in the head.
The policeman in question was taken to hospital, and later
released.
The singer was reportedly arrested for resisting arrest, and
malicious destruction of property.
He was still at the Detroit Detention Centre earlier this
morning, and it is not known when he will be leaving.
Trey recently made headlines earlier this year, after he was
linked to Khloe Kardashian.
The pair fuelled dating rumours in the summer, as they were
spotted getting close, following his performance in Las Vegas.
A source revealed they “were seen making out,” at Drai’s
nightclub, and “they weren’t shy about it”.
But the insider added to E! News: “Both of them are not
looking for a relationship, just some summer fun.
“He thinks she is
dope and a sweet woman, but he just got out of a relationship so he is not
looking for anything serious.
“He does like how confident she is.”
It seems as though the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star
wasn’t too impressed with the rumours.
Rob Kardashian’s sister, who is now seeing basketball player
Tristan Thompson, took to her website to blast speculation about her private
life.
She wrote: “If I'm 'spotted' hanging with a guy at a party –
even if I'm just saying hi for a quick second – it immediately becomes a
negative headline about how many guys I'm dating or how I'm getting into a new
relationship."
“People have taken pictures of me and say they're proof of
something concrete.
“Pictures are just moments in time.
“They never show the whole truth.”
