MURDER! Teenage Boy stabbed To Death In Bristol, UK.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the
murder of a boy, 16, who was stabbed to death in Bristol.
Police said they were
called to reports of a disturbance at a
property on Stothard Road in the Lockleaze area of the city at around 5.50am on
Sunday.
The boy, who was found with severe knife wounds, was taken
to Southmead Hospital where died out his injuries.
He has not yet been formally identified.
Senior investigating officer Richard Pegler said: "This
investigation is at a very early stage and we are doing everything possible to
determine how the young man died.
"We have specially trained family liaison officers who
are supporting the young man's family during this difficult time.
"A post-mortem examination will be carried out by a Home
Office pathologist in due course."
Avon and Somerset Police have warned local residents there
will be increased police activity in the area while the investigation
continues, but said there is no risk to the wider community.
Stothard Road will remain closed for the foreseeable future,
police said.
