Justin Bieber blasts 'obnoxious' Birmingham crowd for screaming as fans brand him 'disrespectful' (PurposeTourUK - Video)

Justin Bieber stopped his show in Birmingham on Monday night
to complain about the "obnoxious" crowd and ask them to stop
screaming.
The controversial pop star was performing at the Barclaycard
Arena in the city for the first of two Purpose World Tour shows, following his
residency at the O2 in London.
Most huge stars would expect people to lose their minds
seeing them in concert and make plenty of noise, but Bieber was simply annoyed
by the attention.
He addressed a frenzied and fervent crowd in-between songs
at one stage, complaining they were "two feet away".
Bieber was filmed telling fans: "If, when I'm speaking,
you guys could not scream at the top of your lungs. Is that cool with you guys?
"The screaming is just so obnoxious.
"If we could just scream after the songs? Enjoy the
songs, then scream, screaming is awesome. Screaming is fun." Okay, then.
Fan Amanda Boland, 26, who travelled down from Manchester to
see the gig was not pleased with the star's reaction to the enthusiastic crowd.
She told the Birmingham Mail: "I really felt as though
Justin was disrespectful to his fans.
"Not so much us, more so the young girls who queued for
a long time to be at the front.
"We recorded the fans screaming because we didn't think
we'd heard anything quite as loud at a concert before... and what we ended up
recording, to our surprise, was Bieber complaining because his fans were 'like
two feet away', and they just 'needed to find another way to express
themselves!'"
Clarifying his comments further, the Canadian pop star
added: "I've been on tour for a while now, away from my friends and away
from my family.
"That's tough sometimes.
"But I adore all you beautiful people who keep me
company."
One Bieber fan jumped to the hitmaker's defence on Twitter,
writing: "I recorded what Justin said about the screaming thing, he wasn't
being rude at all."
Other fans agreed, with @NothingLikeMJ adding: "I don't
get why people are so mad. Nothing rude about this!"
@tkardoost, meanwhile, complained of a "rude"
Birmingham crowd, and @swe_biebz agreed, writing: "I would flip out if
people acted like this around me."
